Meet the Cast
Henry Martin (Robin Hood/Design Team) is delighted to be part of this merry show! He’s been part of NWCT since he was 10, and it’s been like a second home ever since.
Most recently, he played White Rabbit in Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and Pete in Pete the Cat. Some of his other favorite roles include Space Cowboy Hank in Halloween Ball, Mr.D in The Lightning Thief (NWCT Alumni Show – 2025), and Cow Patty Boy in The Stinky Cheese Man (NWCT Alumni Show, 2023).
When he’s not on stage, you’ll usually find him behind the scenes running sound and lights for NWCT mainstage productions.
Henry wants to give a big shoutout to Sarah Jane and John for their support and a thank you to his family, friends, and the amazing NWCT team for making this such a special place!
Tia Lempert (Maid Marian) is an actor and classically trained soprano based in PDX. She has a background in musical theatre and opera and has been performing around the Portland area for many years. She is thrilled to return to NWCT for her second alumni show and fifth mainstage production since 2018. You may recognize her from last year’s The Lightning Thief (Sally/Oracle), as well as other productions around town including The Prom and Oliver! with Stumptown Stages, and Groundhog Day at the Lakewood Center for the Arts. Lucien Gratteri (Sheriff of Nottingham) couldn’t be more excited to return home to NWCTS, where he was last seen onstage 20 years ago in The Witches (2006). Some favorite memories are being a part of Kids Co, countless after-school playlabs and classes, and time with friends in the old green room at the NW Cultural Center. He has a BFA from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Thank you to his family for their never-ending support, and to Sarah Jane and Nick for this opportunity.
Amelia Dusevoir (Sir Guy King Richard) is thrilled to be back at NWCT this Summer! Her heart belongs to Portland, but she currently spends most of her time in Orange County, California. Amelia is about to begin her Senior year at Cal State Fullerton, where she is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theater. Other than performing, she loves to play the piano, swing on trapezes, and stand near waterfalls. She just recently got over her fear of dogs. Her favorite show credits include Winnifred (Once Upon A Mattress), Donna (Mamma Mia!) and Olive (Spelling Bee).
Joey Barrett (Prince John) is thrilled to be back with NWCT for his third alumni show. He’s previously worked on The Stinky Cheese Man and The Little Prince, and recently graduated from Pacific University with a BFA in Applied Theatre. He thanks his family and two beautiful bulldogs.
Reed Sturtevant (Little John) is a NWCT alumnus who is thrilled to be back! He was involved from 2006-2012 in mainstage shows including Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and Snow White, as well as Interns, assistant teaching, and other fun stuff. Reed has a BA in theatre and linguistics from Dartmouth College, where he was part of a student-produced Shakespeare company for 4 years. He also received a MS in speech, language, and learning from Northwestern. Reed is a lifelong player of instruments and singer of songs.
Judah Haynes (Friar Tuck) — Catalyst ‘25, and a voice major at St. Olaf College in Minnesota — is thrilled to be a part of Robin Hood at NWCT! Favorite performances include Company (Robert) with Catalyst, She Loves Me (Georg Nowack) at Tigard High, Les Misérables (Enjolras) with Broadway Rose, and Much Ado About Nothing (Dogberry) at St. Olaf. In free time, Judah enjoys hiking, Florence + The Machine’s Lungs album, and noodling around on the piano. He thanks his family, friends, and mentors for their unconditional support; and the beautiful company of Robin Hood for their work.
Charlie Sanders (Will Scarlet/Design Team) is thrilled to be back in another Alumni Show at the Judy! Most recently appearing at the Judy as Luke (and others) in The Lightning Thief last summer, Charlie has been a part of the NWCT community for as long as she can remember. Her first Mainstage role was Young Fiona (and the shoemaker’s elf) in Shrek the Musical in 2015! Charlie recently graduated from Illinois Tech and has since moved back to Portland to work at the Judy and give back to the theater that shaped her childhood.
Elizabeth Gibbs (Matilda) is delighted to return to the NWCT stage after a decade away. Elizabeth attended classes and camps at NWCT starting in 1996, and has appeared on the NWCT mainstage as a teenage and adult performer as well as working as a choreographer, teacher and director. Past favorites include Annie, The BFG, Cinderella, Snow White, Crazy for You, Grease and Babes in Arms. Elizabeth has also worked with local companies such as Action/Adventure, Post5 and Portland Actors’ Ensemble. When not performing, Elizabeth teaches theater at Catlin Gabel School and parents her two delightful kids, Emily and Hazel.
Michaela Warren Monteblanco (Wilhem) is so excited to be back on the NWCT stage this summer! Since performing in 2023’s The Stinky Cheese Man, she has studied abroad at the British American Drama Academy and graduated from the University of Southern California. She feels lucky to be welcomed home by NWCT, spending the summer here both onstage and as a teacher! Michaela would like to thank her carpool heroes and the MAX for making this all possible. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Meet the Creative Team
Nick Fenster (Director) is the Managing Director of NWCT. He is an alum dating back to when the Children’s Theater first opened in 1993 (he was 7). In 2009, a formally educated Fenster returned to NWCT and began working as a teacher and box officer.
In the years since he has been a marketer, fundraiser, accompanist, and talking tree. He is also a performer, writer, and director, working with local theater companies such as Action/Adventure, The Working Theatre Collective, and annual Pedalpalooza bike-ride-turned-performance-art “Bike Play.” He most recently had the privilege of working alongside composer Ezra Weiss and Artistic Director Sarah Jane Hardy to adapt the script for NWCT’s Alice in Wonderland.
This is Nick’s first time directing for NWCT and he is delighted to bring this very silly story, and 10 very talented alumni, back to our stage.
Riley Suzuki (Stage Manager) is excited to be returning to The Judy in her second Alumni show!
Previously, she has appeared in shows like The Lightning Thief, Cinderella, and The Wizard of Oz at NWCT.
Riley recently graduated from Ithaca College, where she got a BFA in Acting!
She is so honored to be back working with the company that introduced her to theater, and can not wait for you to watch the world of the show come to life.
Makaela Terrance (Fight Choreographer) is the Education Program Manager at NWCT and is so excited to have been a part of Robin Hood by choreographing the stage combat. Makaela is nationally certified in Hand to Hand Stage Combat and Broadsword Combat and is an alumni from Southern Oregon University. Makaela has used her skills of stage combat with NWCT’s Catalyst for Hamlet, The Wardrobe, Miss Electricity and She Kills Monsters as well as in the Portland Metro Area with companies like Funhouse Lounge and Torchsong Entertainment. ⚔️
Owen Abrahams (Lighting Designer) is a Portland and New York based lighting designer studying lighting design and technology at SUNY Purchase. Previous NWCT credits include Catalyst’s A Chorus Line (Lighting Designer) and Pete the Cat (Spotlight Operator).
Corbin Wescott (Sound Designer) can usually be found in an airplane, somewhere in the world, trying to get some sleep, en route to his next gig.
He is thrilled to be able to come back to NWCTS for his first show at The Judy; having been seen last as the Music Director of Goodnight Moon (2014), onstage in Bugsy Malone (2005) and Swiss Family Robinson (2007), and learning how to walk in the aisles of NWCTS’ first home.
In his professional life, Corbin works day-to-day designing and programming AV systems for theme parks, cruise ships, museums, and more, across the globe. He’s grateful for this opportunity to return to NWCTS to be the sound designer for this hilarious show.
John Ellingson (Design Team) is Northwest Children’s Theater’s Associate Artistic Director. He’s been designing sets and props for NWCT for more than 10 years.
John’s designs have won multiple awards, including Drammys for he BFG (2013) and James and the Giant Peach (2014). In 2015, he designed the set for NWCT’s Mary Poppins, which won both the Drammy and Portland Area Musical Theater Awards for Outstanding Set Design—the PAMTAs also awarded John’s prop design for the same production.
His proudest design achievements include Matilda the Musical, The Cat in the Hat, James and the Giant Peach, Elephant and Piggie’s: “We Are in a Play!”, and The Little Mermaid.
John studied puppetry in the U.K after being the recipient of the Portland Civic Theater Guild’s Leslie O. Fulton Fellowship which led to creating NWCT’s Starling series, for which he designed and fabricated over 50 original puppets, and took home another Drammy for outstanding puppetry.
Quinlyn Black (Design Team) is a rising sophomore at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts and is happy to be back at NWCT for the summer! Her favorite roles with them include Abominable Snowman/ensemble (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Mainstage), Madame Tatyana (Ezra Weiss’ Cinderella, Catalyst), and Moonface Martin (Anything Goes, Summer Intensive). Quinlyn is a lifelong artist and, in addition to working as a set illustrator on three short films this spring, she intends to declare a minor in production design this fall, and is so grateful to NWCT for the opportunity to work on Robin Hood! She hopes you enjoy the show.
Jayna Cloud (Backstage Crew) is a current musical theatre student at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is excited to be returning for her second alumni show at NWCT. Northwest Children’s Theatre has been a second home to her as she grew up attending summer camp playlabs and was a Catalyst student for many years. You may have seen her as Clarice in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer or Green Dog in Go, Dog, Go! She made her creative team debut as the assistant director for Catalyst’s A Chorus Line and went on to assistant stage manage The Lightning Thief last summer.
