Auditions for Kids Co. are on August 17, 2024 at The Judy!
Audition for NWCT’s musical theater traveling group for ages 8 – 12! Directed by Sophie MacKay and Amy Faulhaber, Kids Co. is your ticket to leveling up your singing, dancing, and performance skills. Members of Kids Co. will work towards a holiday musical revue. Rehearsals will be held from September 22 – November 24 on Sundays from 10am – 12pm at The Judy. Please note there is no rehearsal on November 3.
Kids Co. will perform their revue at multiple locations across our community between December 2 and 15, with one show at The Judy on December 14 at 6pm! Beyond mastering the stage, Kid’s Co. teaches theater etiquette, fosters a spirit of community service, and shares the magic of theater with everyone.
Tuition for the holiday revue is $400, with assistance available for qualifying students. Students must be at least 8 years old by September 1, 2024 to participate in Kids Co. during the 2024-25 season.
Application & Audition Process
In-person auditions will be held on Saturday, August 17 from 12 – 3:30pm.
Auditions are always free. Here is the process for registration and auditioning:
Audition Process:
- Decide which audition segment to attend. There are two 90-minute segments, with a 30-minute Q&A for parents between them.
- Register for either the first segment from 12 – 2pm, or the second segment from 1:30 – 3:30pm. Do NOT register for both.
- Fill out the Kids Co. application.
- Prepare ONE of the following songs (see Audition Materials below):
- For the First Time in Forever – Frozen
- Tomorrow – Annie
- Pure Imagination – Willy Wonka
- Come to your audition ready to move. We will be teaching a short dance number in the room!
