Audition for NWCT’s Kids Company for ages 9 – 12! Directed by Sophie MacKay and Amy Faulhaber, Kids Co. is your ticket to leveling up your singing, dancing, and performance skills.

There will be a required parent Q&A from 1-1:30pm directly following auditions.

Video submissions will be accepted for those who are out of town on the audition date and if the audition slots time fills up.

The 2026/27 Kid’s Co. Season includes a holiday tour and a spring tour. There are 16 spots available in each troupe.

Auditioners will to able to choose from three provided songs, and a short dance combo will be shared via video to learn ahead of the audition. There is no monologue required for the audition.

Tuition for Kids Co. is $450 for each session (winter and spring), with assistance available for qualifying students. Students must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2026 to participate in Kid’s Co. during the 2026/27 season.

In-Person Audition Process:

1. Register for an audition slot here.
   
2. Fill out the Audition Application form.
   
3. Choose one of these three songs for your audition.
   
4. Prepare this dance combination for the audition. We will briefly go over the choreography as a group at the audition, but the more it is already in your body, the better!
   
5. Come to your audition ready to move and play!

Video Submission Audition Process:

1. Fill out the Audition Application form.
   
2. Videos must include the same material as the in-person auditions: a song and a dance combination (use the same resource links listed above).
   
3. Please make sure that the performer can be seen and heard clearly in the video. The full audition can be submitted either as one video or multiple videos.
   
4. Put your video(s) in a Google Drive folder and send to sophie@nwcts.org by August 24.
