Northwest Children’s Theater is proud to participate in the Arts for All Program. Oregon Trail/SNAP Card holders can purchase up to 4 tickets at $5 each. Additional tickets are full price. Arts for All tickets can be reserved beginning two weeks in advance of each production, and can be purchased over the phone or in person. Please bring your Oregon Trail/SNAP Card on the day of the show to claim your tickets. Arts for All tickets are not available for closing weekend performances.

Our House Manager will do her best to seat you if you arrive after the show has begun. Depending how far the show has progressed and other factors, like actors in the aisles and where your seat is located, you may be asked to take a seat in the back of the house until intermission. Mainstage and Catalyst: NWCT’s Youth Company’s shows for the 2022 season are general admission. We recommend all patrons plan to arrive at NWCT a half-hour before show time.

NWCT welcomes children of all ages to our shows. That being said, some shows may be scary or uninteresting to younger audiences. We strongly encourage parents to check the age recommendations for a show before purchasing tickets. All audience members ages 1 and up must have a ticket.

The Box Office is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 to 6pm. The Box Office is also open during all Catalyst and Mainstage shows, beginning one hour prior to showtime.

The Education Team can be reached Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 5pm. 

The Finance and Management Teams can be reached Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.

NWCT is closed in observance of New Year’s Day, Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

NWCT is located at 1819 NW Everett Street, Portland, Oregon between NW 18th and 19th Streets in the historic Nob Hill Neighborhood. We also offer theater classes and camps across Portland and Beaverton.

There is no audition required to sign up for NWCT classes and camps. Auditions are only required at NWCT for Mainstage and Catalyst casting.
