Catalyst: NWCT’s Youth Company is an advanced training program for performing arts and technical and design theater students ages 10 to 18. Through a combination of classes, workshops, performance, and production opportunities, students develop their craft under the mentorship of professional theater artists.
Participation in Catalyst is by application and audition, or invitation only. Company members will have access to three types of opportunities:
- Self-selected classes, workshops, projects, and performances based on age and interest
- Catalyst productions cast by the director based on students’ audition submissions and possible callbacks
- Mainstage productions cast by the director based on students’ audition submissions and possible callbacks
Students must be at least 10 years old by September 1, 2021 to audition for Catalyst in the 2021-22 season.
