Northwest Children’s Theater is proud to participate in the Arts for All Program. Oregon Trail/SNAP Card holders can purchase up to 4 tickets at $5 each. Additional tickets are full price. Arts for All tickets can be reserved beginning two weeks in advance of each production and can be purchased over the phone or in person. Arts for All tickets are available only to walk-ups for closing weekend performances. Please call the box office at 503-222-2190, option 1 to check availability.

We will do our best to seat you if you arrive after the show has begun. Depending how far the show has progressed and other factors, like actors in the aisles, you may be asked to take a seat in the back of the house until intermission. We recommend all patrons plan to arrive at NWCT a half-hour before show time. Click here for help planning your visit to NWCT.

Mainstage and Catalyst: NWCT’s Youth Company’s shows are general admission. We recommend all patrons plan to arrive at NWCT a half-hour before show time.

Yes. NWCT offers ticket exchanges, subject to availability. A $5 exchange fee will be applied per order. For assistance, call the Box Office at 503-222-2190, option 1.

We do! You can buy tickets online 24 hours a day. $15 rush tickets are made available 15 minutes before each performance. Rush tickets are cash-only. Not all performances will have rush tickets available to sell. All ticket sales are based on availability.

Pricing ranges from $8 – $10 for each student, teacher and chaperone, depending on size of group. Special rates are available for qualifying schools.

NWCT welcomes children of all ages to our shows. However, some shows may be scary or uninteresting to younger audiences. We strongly encourage parents to check the age recommendations for a show before purchasing tickets. All audience members ages 1 and up must have a ticket.

The Box Office and Education Team can be reached Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 6pm. The Box Office is also open during all Catalyst and Mainstage shows, beginning one hour prior to showtime, and the Education Team can be reached during all classes and camps. 

The Finance and Management Teams can be reached Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.

NWCT is closed in observance of New Year’s Day, Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

NWCT’s new home, The Judy, is located in downtown Portland at 1000 SW Broadway, T-100, Portland, OR 97205. NWCT also offers theater classes and camps across Portland and Beaverton.

There is no audition required to sign up for NWCT classes and camps. Auditions are only required at NWCT for Mainstage and Catalyst casting. For assistance on which class or camp to select, contact us at classes@nwcts.org or 503-222-2190, option 2, or and our staff will be happy to help you find the right fit for your child.
