Audition for NWCT’s Kids Company for ages 9 – 12! Directed by Sophie MacKay and Amy Faulhaber, Kids Co. is your ticket to leveling up your singing, dancing, and performance skills. Kid’s Co. 2025-26 members will be cast as the Munchkins in NWCT’s Mainstage holiday production of The Wizard of Oz (running November 29, 2025 – January 4, 2026), as well as a musical revue in the spring that they will perform at multiple locations around the community.

Please note, your child MUST be available for The Wizard of Oz in order to audition. View the rehearsal and performance calendar here. (Please review ALL tabs at the bottom of the document.)

You don’t need to be able to commit to the full year, but if you can, great!

Tuition for Kids Co. is $425 for each session (winter and spring), with assistance available for qualifying students. Students must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2025 to participate in Kids Co. during the 2025-26 season.

In-Person Audition Process:

1. Fill out the Audition Application form.
   
2. Prepare one minute or less of a musical theater song of your choice. Make sure to bring a karaoke track. We will not be accompanying any singers. No a cappella singing please.
   
3. Choose one short monologue to prepare and memorize from this Audition Materials folder.
   
4. Prepare the dance combination also included in the Audition Materials folder. We will briefly go over the choreography as a group, but the more it is already in your body, the better!
   
5. Come to your audition ready to move and play!

Video Submission Audition Process:

1. Fill out the Audition Application form.
   
2. Videos must include the same material as the in-person auditions: a song, monologue, and dance combination (use the same resource links listed above).
   
3. Please make sure that the performer can be seen and heard clearly. The full audition can be submitted either as one video or multiple videos.
   
4. Put your video(s) in a Google Drive folder and send to sophie@nwcts.org by August 24.
