Northwest Children’s Theater’s Fourth Annual Alumni
Show Returns with Robin Hood, July 18-August 2

PORTLAND, OR — Northwest Children’s Theater (NWCT) announces its fourth annual Alumni Show production, Robin Hood, playing July 18-August 2 on The Schnitzer Stage at The Judy Kafoury Center for Youth Arts in downtown Portland. The NWCT Alumni Show is a unique fixture in the theater’s season in which every member of the creative team, cast, and crew is a former NWCT student. From recent graduates to alumni with more than 30 years of history, these artists return from near and far every summer to create this special production together.
NWCT Managing Director Nick Fenster directs the show. Himself an alumni, Fenster began taking theater classes at NWCT back in 1993, the company’s founding year. In the years since he has worn many hats, working as a teacher, administrator, playwright, and now Managing Director. Outside of NWCT, Fenster has written and directed for Action/Adventure Theatre and the Working Theatre Collective. Robin Hood marks his first time directing for NWCT.
