Take a theater workshop and see a show! NWCT’s Girl Scout Workshops are all about experiencing the magic of theater arts while bonding with friends. Taught by NWCT teaching artists, these workshops are designed for Girl Scouts to complete steps toward earning Creative Play and Performance badges.
Best suited for Brownies and Juniors
These workshops pair 90 minutes of lively theater activities with a ticket to a matinee mainstage performance. Sign up individually or as a troop. A minimum of ten participants is required to run a Matinee Workshop.
Cost: $22 per participant
Adults may attend the performance for an additional $15 per ticket

Private Workshops & Satellite Programs
Private Workshops offer an exclusive experience for your troop. Choose from one of our existing workshops or create your own! Then contact us to arrange a date and time that’s convenient for you. A minimum of ten Scouts is required, with one chaperone for every ten participants.
Includes 90-minute theater workshop. Additional mileage fee will apply for any NWCT travel to your location. List of Private Workshops below:
“Character Choreo” Workshop
Feel the beat! Tap your feet! In this workshop, Girl Scouts will explore dance and movement through music, maps, abstract art, and other unusual sources of inspiration.
Meets requirements for completing steps toward earning the following badges: Brownie: Dancer
“History in Action” Workshop
Using famous artwork and old photographs, Girl Scouts will bring history to life! Tell the story of the moment captured in time. Give a voice to silent photos. Dress up as a character from history and host a party with other characters!
Meets requirements for completing steps toward earning the following badges: Junior: Playing the Past, Cadette: Public Speaker
“Performance Pieces” Workshop
Using text from Shakespeare to Simon, Girl Scouts will work with selected scenes and monologues as they are introduced to performance, objectives, obstacles and tactics.

Full payment is due at the time of registration. Reservations will NOT be accepted without full payment.
In order to receive a full refund, the registration must be cancelled at least two (2) weeks prior to the workshop date.
Cancellations received less than two (2) weeks and more than one (1) week before the Workshop date will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received less than one (1) week from the workshop date will receive no refund or credit.
A workshop can be cancelled by NWCT if it does not meet the minimum attendance threshold. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified at least 5 days before the workshop date and offered an alternative date or refund.
