The Northwest Children’s Theater and School (NWCT) is a non-profit theater arts organization whose mission is to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of young audiences.

Theater nurtures creativity, stimulates critical thinking, expands a child’s understanding, and encourages an appreciation for all of the arts—music, dance, textile and building crafts, visual arts, the written and the spoken word.

However, children’s theater can rarely be both self-supporting and accessible. It is supplemental funding from individuals, businesses and foundations which allows us to keep ticket prices at affordable levels for most families, and to offer free theater tickets and classes to schools and children from disadvantaged families.
