Morning Camps

10 AM - 1 PM

The Three Little Piglets Ages 4½-7
It’s time for the piglets to make their way in the world. The wide world awaits full of straw, sticks, bricks and … Wolves? Come sing songs, make pig ears and see what happens to our porcine heroes.

Gilham-Luginbill, Johnson - Perform last class $135

Introduction to Acting—Emphasis Fun! Ages 6-9
Sam’s fun and funny format introduces students to basic acting techniques, tips and terms. Class will use theater games, tongue twisters and comedy skits to help students work on projection, stage direction, and more.

Spring Fever! Ages 8-12
It’s Spring! Come sing and dance to a fun bouquet of Spring Songs! We’ll put together a happy musical review with toe tapping dances, great songs and flowery costumes.

Pinocchio! (all day) Ages 8-14
A boy made of wood can get in all kinds of trouble and lead a father on a wild adventure with puppets, talking animals and donkey boys! But that’s the way it is if you want to become real; just ask the Blue Fairy.

Backstage Ages 10-14
Learn technical theater as you work with NWCT’s award-winning set designer. Students will help design and tech Pinocchio.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf! Ages 6-10
We all know what happens to people who cry wolf — or do we? High in the cold mountains is Dragonville. Near the town is the lair of the dragon Flame who is losing her fire! The mayor must find a way to help Flame who besides being loved is the source of all heat for the village.

Spring Comedy Sampler! Ages 9-12
Just like a box of chocolates, comedy comes in many flavors. There are puns, jokes, riddles, stand up, situations, games, scenes, bits, on and on! Come sample them all in this fun and funny class with everyone’s favorite funny man, Sam Burns.

Sense, Nonsense & Seuss! Ages 7-10
Help to develop a performance based on favorite stories and poetry by the remarkable Dr. Seuss! The focus is on fun and creativity.

Camp Information


BEFORE & AFTER CARE  
Mon.-Fri. 8:00-10:00 am $15  
Mon.-Fri. 4:30-6:30 am $15

BREAKS & LUNCH  
Mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are available for one dollar each, or bring your own. You may set up a snack account at the office. Supervised lunch break is from 1 - 1:30 p.m. daily. All-day students should plan to bring a sack lunch. Refrigeration is available.

DRESS  
  • Please leave all valuables at home.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. No flip-flops please!
