Class will audition, rehearse, don makeup and costumes, and perform on the NWCT Mainstage! Everyone gets a part!


Aladdin! Ages 7-12
This playlab has it all—an exotic desert setting, fun music, an evil villain, a lovely princess, magic genies, jewels and a poor and awkward hero!? Well, we’ll see how that works out! Sign up early to assure a spot. Also offered afternoons.

Jackie & the Giants Ages 11-16
Adventurous Jackie is a round peg who never fit in her square village. When a huge beanstalk sprouts up in the middle of town, of course she is ready to explore! Little does she know what GIANT adventure awaits her in the rock and roll clouds! Will she find a place in the sky to belong? Climb up the beanstalk this summer for a musical adventure!

Ugly Bug Ball
Bugs are a’buzzin and wings are a’fluttering as the Ladybug Girl and the Bumblebee Boy prepare for the Midsummer Ball and the crowning of the Best Bug by Fairy Queen Summer! All are invited&mdashboth magical and ordinary—to attend the famous Ugly Bug Ball for fun and surprises!

Hollywood’s Best
Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Blanchett, Mark Wahlberg, Kate Winslet and other fine young actors have changed the face of the film industry. Work with George to analyze their best work and apply new techniques to selected scene work. Prior approval required.

Macbeth’s bloody rise to power takes a new path as Shakespeare’s dark Scottish tragedy is revamped into a 1920s gangster style tale of arrogance, madness, and death. Flapper dancer witches and mobster royalty help set the scene for the descent into moral decay!

Showdown at the Pebble Butte Corral! Ages 11-16
The Sheriff keeps order in Pebble Butte…until two mysterious ladies arrive in town—Miss Sunshine on the stagecoach and B.B. Beauty the gunslinger on her horse Sassy. Add dandy songs, the ladies Decency League, cowpokes, a precocious youngin’, a spttin’ contest showdown stir into a hilarious western stew!

Before there were sit-coms, there was a gang of scruffy odd ball friends—and Petey the pit bull! America loved their funny adventures, spirited high-jinks and stories centered on real, diverse kids.

Wild Things! Ages 7-10
Everyone turns into a wild thing once in a while; monsters and goblins can be friendly; nightmares can be adventures! Right? Sign up for this camp and dare to slide under the bed and see where you will go!

Creative Costume Design Ages 11-16
For those of you who enjoy costumes and want to learn more about design, this hands on camp will encourage your creativity. Students will also help to costume the Wild Things! camp. Limit 10.

Film Workshop AM Ages 12-18
Be a star while practicing on-camera improvisation, interview, and audition skills. Use real commercial, film, and TV scripts (comedy, drama) and positive video feedback to gain confidence and experience. Limit 12.

We’ll Sing in the Sunshine Ages 8-11
Love to sing and dance? Then join us as we put together a sunny, summery musical revue with toe tapping dances, great songs and colorful costumes. Perform during last camp!

This funny spoof takes on those kiddie beauty pageants on TV. You know, where Honey Boo Boo got her start! It’s all here, the tots, the drama, the moms, the drama, the outfits and…the drama!

Learn technical theater as you work with NWCT’s award-winning set designer. Students will help design and tech Salute to Silent Films and Get a Clue!

Triple Threat Techniques Ages 10-15
Triple threats are those actors who excel in all things theater — singing, dancing and acting. Rozalind will challenge students through carefully selected scenes and songs to help match camper experience and goals.

High in the cold mountains is Dragonville. Near the town is the lair of the dragon Flame who is losing her fire! The mayor must find a way to help Flame who besides being loved is the sorce of all heat for the village.

Inspired by Richard Scary’s popular books, camp activities will include theater games, music, crafts and short playlets that feature animals as police, firefighters, cabbies, teachers, and many more in stories about life in a Busy Town!
